Ankylosing Spondylosis with stiff hip

27 year old gentlemen were diagnosed with Ankylosing spondylosis at age of 20. He started developing hip pain and stiffness which gradually increased to point that he was unable to even sit properly in a chair. He didn’t have any movement in his hip and it had become fully fused.

He couldn’t travel by 2 wheeler, car, rickshaw, train, etc as it was difficult to sit.

At this point, he came to laud clinic for treatment.

At Laud Clinic we did Hip replacement of both hips.

In the Clinic itself, he was trained walking, stair climbing, and commode training and discharged home.

After Surgery, he could sit properly on a chair, travel by 2 wheeler, car, rickshaw, train with ease. He is yearly follow up at our clinic, He later got married, had 2 children and goes for his daily office job via public transportation.
